This is an easy exercise to set up and is not very expensive. My dog caught on very quickly and got tons of great exercise playing.

Great for Dogs

posted 6 years ago

I made a set for my dogs, who love to play with them. I also made a set for my store, for the dogs that come in to play with. I looked up the specifications in the USDAA (United States Dog Agility Association) website, then went to my local hardware store. A few sticks of PVC pipe, a few fittings, some electrical tape and a hacksaw blade was all I needed. The electrical tape marks the poles so the dog sees them better.

Pros: EAsy to make yourself

Cons: none

Agility at home

posted 5 years ago

I purchased agility weave poles from a site on ebay. They were only $24 plus $20 s& h charges. Everywhere else I have looked thay were &90 and up. You can make a set yourself from pvc pipes from Home Depot for about $15. Tully learned how to weave in a class at BarkAvenue BArtlett ,Il. He loves it! It keeps him focused and exercised. It gives him a job. You can teach any dog and they will love it.

Pros: keeps a dog busy/gives exercise

Cons: NONE

Neat to watch

posted 6 years ago

Although my dogs cannot do this, I have watched others who can. It is amazing how the dog can touch one front foot on each side. The dogs seem to LOVE it also!!

Pros: Neat to watch

Cons: hard to train?
