Andrew is a picky eater. He is somewhere between the ages of 14-17. He ate Purina 1 Cat food for 13 years of his life, before I got him. I put him on Blue Buff Longevity, which he loved. Within months he lost large amounts of weight. He was very frail looking. He was constantly searching for food, and even getting aggressive when you'd take food from him, and he's not aggressive at all usually. So I switched to this product. He is slowly gaining weight. He doesn't scavenge for food anymore. I'm not a huge royal canin fan. I believe that age/breed(within species) specific pet food is a huge scam...but my cat seems to do best on slightly lower quality foods, and this is the best of average quality foods.
