I usually love all the nutro food but the dogs don't like this kind for some reason.

Although this is one of the pricier dog foods I would highly recommend this. I was having behavior problems with my dog when I first brought him home from the shelter. I began to see a dog trainer. He told me that if I didn't mind paying a little extra that this food would make all of the difference in the world. It did. I think of it like this, if you give your child all junk food they act up. Same thing for your pet. His behavior improved, his coat is beautiful, his teeth look wonderful, and his stools improved. I use alot of their products and I haven't been let down yet!

This is the dog food of choice for all my dogs. I have 2 dobermans and an aussie mix. The aussie has is 7 years old and suffers from hip displasia, one of the dobes is 6 years old and starting to show signs of arthritis, and the other dobe is 3, but has, as the vet so scientifically put it, "really bad knees". All three benefit from having additional glucosomine/chrondroitin added to their diet. (They also get supplements.)

I serve them their dinner moistened with a little warm water - they think they're getting a treat that way :-) And when they starting to get a little pudgy (winter months), I decrease their dry food a little and add some green beans instead!

My ONLY beef with this food is that it's only available at pet stores, and I live 25 miles from the nearest pet store. But, it's worth the drive.

(Besides, I have to go there to get my cat food and cat litter, which is also only available at pet stores. Oh well. Generally speaking, the day the stuff is available at Wal-Mart is usually the day their quality has dropped below the point you may want to use it anyway.)

Good food but lacks taste. Our dogs will eat it, but its not a favorite food. It is good for them, wish they liked it more.

My dogs absolutely love this food. Hands down, it's the best food I've found for them, and it's affordable. It's been great for their coats, easy on their stomach which has been a major issue in the past. It also doesn't seem nearly as dry as other kibble. One huge drawback is that while when it was first introduced it was readily available, I can now almost never find it, and when I can, it's usually in the 10lb bags. I have large dogs, so that can get expensive. Last time I went to the pet store, they said they didn't expect to get more until the end of April so I had to switch them to a new food without warning. The other thing is if you have a sensitive nose, this stuff smells awful. But, if you can live with it, and you can find it, I highly recommend it.
