Horizon Legacy Dog Food

I decided to try this out because I wanted to alternate something with while feeding Orijen/acana. If you look at the ingridients, its almost identical to Orijen chicken, its made in Canada, high protein, grain free kibble. The ingridients are rigoriously tested and passed fit for human consumption. They also only use local ingridients and purchase from ethical producers of meat.

I've been using it for little over a month with excellent results, no digestive upsets or allergies have surfaced so far and Unos coat glistens in the sun, he's got his crazy zoomies each morning and just a lively happy dog.

Even though the initial cost may seem steep, keep in mind that this is a high protein food which means you feed half ( or less ) of the conventional brands found in grocery store, more nutrition coming in, less waste coming out.
My dog is 67 lbs and eats only 3/4 cups- twice a day. If he was on purina or some other cruddy brand, he'd be eating 4-5 cups because its all filler.

A+++ Will keep this brand in our rotation.

The only downside is that its not yet availble locally around here, so I have to order it online. I also hope they will soon come out with other flavors like fish for allergic dogs.
