I guess being 'mongrels', my dogs don't like this higher priced food. They seem to like the cheaper foods better. I guess if they were human, they'd be eating at some greasy spoon instead of fine dining.

Pros: Healthy, balanced food

Cons: Expensive

This is a great food to build muscle on a skinny, underdeveloped dog or to help maintain body condition during hunting season. It will very quickly pack on the pounds though so keep the other dogs out of it. I will sometimes feed this diet instead of puppy food to my females with really large (size and number) litters. It is not as rich in calcium as puppy food but I can always add that if I need to.

Pros: Tastes really good, lots of calories, very shiny coats
