I utilized the Eagle Pack Holistic Anchovy, Sardine, and Salmon food for all four of my dogs when I was trying to experiment with a variety of foods. I loved the high quality of the ingredients plus the lower fat content meant that my perpetually "starving" dogs could get more kibble per meal and possibly feel more full.

The dogs definitely trimmed off some excess weight while on the Eagle Pack Holistic fish formula, and they seemed perky and healthy because they felt good. Unfortunately, they also had fishy breath and stinky fish poops a lot of the time. I was willing to let those slide since my beasties were so healthy though.

The kibble also smells strongly of fish, so it could be rough for people who are sensitive to smells. The big bag of food is also around $50, which may be a little pricey for those on a budget, especially when combined with having to drive to a speciality pet store to find Eagle Pack products.

The Eagle Pack Holistic Select Super Premium Anchovy, Sardine, and Salmon dog food is an excellent food. It just may require more work to find and have a higher price tag than some pet owners want to deal with.

We used to feed our dog this as her regular food. She loved it and it was fairly good for her. Although we are told not to eat alot of fish because of the mercury content. So why should our dogs eat it constantly?

This is a great food, all my French Bulldogs are on it. It makes their coats shiny and keeps them in great shape for the show ring!

i like to occasionally add different foods to their usual kibble for variety & this is one i've used. dogs loved it.
