I wanted my dogs to love this food so badly. With a great price tag for exceptional ingredients (similiar ingredient breakdown to foods that are $10-$20 more expensive per bad) and the first few days, it seemed like the miractly answer - my dogs loved it and chowed it down. Unfortunately, after a few days and what turned into several weeks, we realized it wasn't going to work - both dogs were having some of the most toxic gas we'd ever smelled and their bowel movements were like a never ending slushy fountain. We went through two bags (to give them time to adjust and to make sure there wasn't anything "off" with the first bag) and it never got any better. One of my dogs has always had a "stomach of steel" so this reaction really surprised me.

I do have to say - if this food gets along with your dog's digestively, go for it! It's one of my top recommendations to people for the price and the ingredients. I would have rated it higher, but it didn't work in my house, so I didn't feel that was a fair assessment.

I just recently switch my sheltie to the senior formula of chicken soup. He had no problems with the switch from the regular chicken soup for adult dogs. He loves it. Chicken soup is one of the best pet foods out there.

We have used this at our shelter when it was donated. the senior dogs liked it and did not experience any of the usual upsets you get when you switch up thier diet

our local vet supply sells this and every once in a while they give (the shelter)several bags for what ever reason .this is very good food .
