I switched to this dog food when my shih tzu started scratching all the time. The lady at the store said this food will help dogs with allergies to the by-products they add to food. Ever since we switched food, my Bandit doesn't scratch anymore! We now also have our American Bulldog on it. He has developed allergies to grass and this food helps him with his scratching also. have a half red wolf and Norwegian elkhound mix. No wild for at least ten generations and is like a baby. He is a save and has an after school special story all his own. I have never loved a child more than this dog. He came to me at 9 weeks old and ate science diet. I could not stand the looks of that myself and PetSmart walked me thru many foods and I settled on that because it had a wolf on it but it had the antioxidents in the food. Less stool, goes twice a day but small amount and I feel that since he is happy and very engergetic, he is getting what he needs. I do mix tuna, salmon, chicken and I do cook rice with hearts, gizzards and livers for him at least once a month. I cannot rave enough about the food and I have two friends with bull dogs and they have their dogs on it too and it has helped with their allergies.

Pros: less stool, great coat, shiny eyes and very active, not lethargic at all

Cons: the price but the economy is bad

We switched our golden to this a month ago and she loves it. Because there are so few fillers used in the food, she needs less, so that makes the food, which is a little pricey, worth every dime. She was loosing a tad more fur last month then usual, but now it has calmed down, don't know if that is attributed to the food, but think it is. Can't say enough good things about this dog food, highly recommended by us.

This is wonderful food. All my dogs love to eat it. My morbidly obese basset/beagle has lost 7 pounds while gaining an amazingly soft, shiney coat, healthier teeth, and is more active and playful. My pitbull has also lost and gained the same, and I have seen a huge improvement in his hips and joints in general after putting him on Senior.

I love this dog food. My dog had allergies and I would always end up taking him to the vet for shots - then I did some research and found that this is a very good dog product and was healthy - no by-products and rated very high compared to other dog food - my dog hasn't needed a shot since I started with this food - I would suggest it to everyone - if you are not sure - just go online and look up dog food analysis and you can see how other dog foods compare.
