Large breed dogs are prone to hip & joint problems and knowing that I have always fed mine a dog food with glucosamine and chondroitin in it. In the past this was only found in the more expensive brands like Natural Choice. I love that brand but I have been feeling a cash flow crunch lately and was looking to save $. I found and tried Pedigree Large Breed dry food and am for the most part pleased. It is about 1/2 the cost of Natural Choice and Trooper seems to like it. Unfortunately, in my area, I have only found it a Weiss Supermarkets.

This is the only dog food I will purchase. We have tried others. My two will ignore it & the looks alone will let me know. I thought they would enjoy a "higher price or better" food. They have made their selection!

My little one will only eat the bone shaped ones so you will know when he has had his meal.

We use the puppy version of Pedigree and our dogs love it. We have two puppys that are almost three months and almost 4 months, they seem have more regular stools since we've had them on it and they have a healthy coat. The only con I could possibly think of is that they love it so much we go through about a bag a week. I will be sticking with this brand into their adult hood.

Both of my pit bulls devour this stuff. One of them loves to find the bag and eat it right out of the bag!! Can't keep them away from it!
