We have a 13 year old miniture poodle who use to throw up bile at least once a week from all the licking he does (allergies). Our Vet decided two years ago to change his food and it has been a miracle for our dog. He never throws up bile anymore.

I was very skeptical because the main ingredient is corn and you have all these people trashing wheat and corn and other grains in dog food. Don't you believe it for one minute! This product is the best thing you can give your dog, if he or she has GI problems.

I also highly recommend getting some cans of their low residue food as a back up. In case your dog does get an upset stomach from a medication, etc. Give him the canned version of this so there will be no ruffage (dry food) going into the stomach.

Want to know how great this stuff is? When yoou change dog foods on your pet, he or she can get terribly sick unless you slowly change to the new food.
Well, not with this food. You can change over immediately if need be and it will not upset your dog's stomach.

I started him out with a small amount each time but he could not hold it. It gave him terrible diareah
I mixed some chopped meat with rice and gave him that and in a few days he was his usual self

I always add a spoon of canned food with my dog's dry food in the evening. I found Iams to work very well. He eats it without any problem and it's good for him. He doesn't have stomach issues, but I'm happy with this food.

iams is a great brand all around. not just this selection. it is very healthy and always has just the right formula for what you are looking for.
