I have to be very picky about what my dogs eat. Both have sensitive stomachs and one has frequent gastro issues that require a low fat food that doesn't have too many different protein sources. I was originally feeding them both Wellness Whitefish formula which is an awesome food but unfortunately, my smallest chihuahua doesn't like the rounded kibble and has started refusing it. So I had to search for a comparable formula. Most foods that have a whitefish formula have large kibble. Blue Buffalo is the only one I have come across that has whitefish and is actually for small breeds. Both my chihuahuas love it and the kibble size is just right for them. Not too big, not too rounded. I was worried at first because there are two types of kibble in the food... the regular kibble and the Lifesource bits that have the vitamins, etc. My dogs have a history of only eating the pieces they want and leaving the rest in the bowl but they have no problem with it and eat their entire serving with no hesitation at all. Very happy!

We recently adopted a shelter dog that was being fed Science Diet. They gave us a bag of that to have and we decided that we wanted to give our dog the best and transition to a higher quality food. After research we decided on Blue Buffalo. My dog LOVES this food...in fact she is starting to pick up the Science Diet pieces and spit them onto the ground so she can get to the Blue Buffalo pieces.. LOL. She is at about 1/2 old food 1/2 Blue Buffalo right now and no issues with loose stools. She already seems significantly less itchy and I swear her coat looks better. I can' wait to have her full switched over as I'm sure she can't either! There is no junk in this food..no byproducts, corn, wheat, or soy. The difference in a few dollars is price is more than worth the added health and happiness benefits. Thank you Blue Buffalo!

My shih tzu is a very picky eater, she loves human food! so when i bought blue buffalo I was expecting her to turn her nose up at it and not eat it! WOW! she ate the whole bowl! I like the fact that its healthier for her than the regular foods, and she has started gaining weight! Her old food used to go in and come out the other ends just as fast! With blue buffalo her bowels are consistent and are firmer! So less pooping in the house unexpectedly!

I recently changed my dog to this food because I found her previous food wasn't great as I thought it was. Blue for dogs ingredients are human grade. They don't have all the filler's that other foods do. Rockstar now has smaller solid stools, she has adjusted to this food well. I do have to say Rockstar attacked the bag of food when I brought it in. There is no preservatives, nothing sprayed on the food to make is more appealing to her. She loves it, I'm impressed also.

I love this dog food, I feed it to all my dogs, but in different formula's. It's great cause it doesn't contain corn, wheat or soy, and there is no chicken meal, its whole deboned chicken. Best dog food on the market in my opinion. My dogs do great on this food.
