Our neighbor cat figure out it could come into our house via the dog door. We had never had the problem before so had to replace the misplaced cover. Problem solved.

I have one of these to close the dogs in at night, so they don't spend the night annoying the neighbors by protecting us from falling leaves and things that go bump in the night. It works for keeping the dogs IN. A full size lab, running full tilt CAN pop it out of track coming in from OUTside. Messes up the track and the dog door, resulting in the entire thing needing to be replaced. Also resulted in one very surprised and insulted lab....

We got this for our cat and it is wonderful. It has a door so if we dont want her to go outside we just slid the door in. It does let a little draft in, but I heard they all do. was pretty cheap too
