Not a shabby deal if you can keep it running

Definitely consider whether you're a DIYer before undertaking installation. I installed on 1.5 acres and it took me several mosquito filled days to get my loop in the ground. A machine could definitely improve installation and I would recommend that.
I have an active gardening family, and as such our tiller has taken out the loop several times. It's difficult to diagnose where a break is when your loop is 500+ feet long. I believe the instructions mention a device to help you find the break, and had I purchased it right from the start it would have paid for itself a couple times by now. If you have a large loop plan on spending a couple hours to locate a break. They really should include the locater device in a "Deluxe" edition of the product.
Aside from line breaks, the system works fabulously. Our dog stays in the yard with rare exception and our line has been broken all winter (can't find a break when the ground is frozen)
Pros: For neighborhoods without fences, it's a great way to encourage good training.
Cons: Line breaks too easily and is difficult to install.
