Petmate Dog House Door

We have several different dog houses at the shelter. We have 14 outdoor kennels that are tarped to help with the weather. But we had an igloo donated and it had these door on it. We left it on thinking that it would be nice.

It last thru 3 dogs. The fourth dog chewed it up big time. So I would say, if you know your dog and you know it does not chew, get the door. If you know your dog chews, don't get the door.

Pros: easy to use

Cons: can be chewed

This seems to work well enough. It obviously doesn't keep out all the draft, but certainly better than an open hole. Our's has been on the house for several years and is still hanging on, though a bit curled at the edges and therefore less effective.
