This was great when I had four German Shepherds - they were able to come in when it rained or they got cold. And they could go out when they had to relieve themselves. There was a panel to slide into the door when you didn't want "traffic" - we always employed this at night and had the additional safety of another locking door to prevent unwanted human access. Over time the free-swinging plastic flexible panel got a bit "beaten up" and the magnets on the bottom (which help to seal the panel) lost some strength and a snake got into the basement. After my gentle prodding with a broom, the snake decided to exit the way it came in!

WE HAVE ONE IN THE BACK OF OUR GARAGE SO THE DOOR CAN GO IN THERE IF A STORM COMES UP WHILE WE ARE AT WORK. THEY ARE SO HANDY.

i just had one of these installed where the dogs can get inside ou to the weather/ it took them a few days but they got use to it now they go inout of the garage/

my mom has this door in the back of her garage so her dog can go in there if there are bad storms because her dog don't like lighting.
