Pet Doors work great!

After years of having to keep our basement door open so our cats could get down to the basement to use their litter boxes we finally installed a pet door. Both cats learned how to use it quickly. We just held the door open and lured them through it with a treat. In no time they were pushing their way through. It is so nice to not have to worry about whether the door is open and the cats have access to their litter boxes. I wish we had installed one many years ago!
Pros: Ease of use
Cons: Have to cut a hole in a door
