Amazon.com Don't be fooled by its pocket-sized handheld transmitter--this easy-to-use micro remote pet trainer delivers an array of advanced features found in much bulkier units. The system provides a range of up to 300 yards, nine stimulation levels, a plus-two boost option, a tone-only training option, and a backlit LCD digital display. Rechargeable lithium ion batteries quickly charge in about two hours, and the highly advanced, integrated collar offers a remarkably thin and comfortable design. Used properly, the receiver collar delivers an electronic stimulus that dogs find undesirable. By obeying, the dog quickly learns to shut off the stimulation, thus gaining confidence in response to human commands. For added convenience, the system's exclusive ReadyTest produces a brief, pleasant clicking to indicate the perfect collar fit, plus it shows the three-way battery charge status and warns of potential system problems. The 4-ounce receiver measures 2-3/4 by 3/4 by 1-1/4 inches, the 2-ounce hand-held transmitter measures 1-3/4 by 3/4 by 4-1/8 inches, the collar fits neck sizes 8 to 24 inches, and the system carries a limited lifetime warranty. Innotek recommends dogs be at least six months old before starting a remote training program. For the safety of the dog, a long lead should be used during initial training to ensure control of the situation. If the dog shows signs of growling, snarling, or biting while using the collar, stop immediately and consult a professional dog trainer or animal behaviorist. The latest breakthrough in miniaturization means maximum performance and portability. The highly advanced, integrated collar is remarkably thin (30% thinner that comparable systems) and comfortable for your dog. The pocket-sized transmitter features "easy feel" control buttons, but don't let it fool you. Features: ReadyTestTM -- ensures correct collar fit, three-way battery charge status, and warns of potential system problems for greatest pet safety. Visual display -- large LCD shows digital precision. Backlight offers easy viewing even at night. Nine stimulation levels with +2 boost. Up to a 300 yard range. Tone-only training option -- for added training flexibility. Rechargeable lithium ion batteries -- fast-charging (two hours) and long life. Waterproof -- collar and transmitter stand up to rough punishment, even submerged in water. Two-dog training potential with purchase of an extra collar (item IUT-011, sold separately). Manufacturer offers a 60-day money-back guarantee and lifetime product warranty. Receiver Specifications 2-3/4 by 3/4 by 1-1/4 inches Transmitter Specifications 1-3/4 by 3/4 by 4-1/8 inche

Not for Wooded Areas

posted 6 years ago

We purchased this to train a 5-yr old adopted dog not to run away from our house. We have a very large property and while he always came back I was always worried that he would reach the road or get hurt. The first couple of times, near the house in a more open area, the collar worked fine. Pod stopped when shocked ( I would recommend starting at low settings and work your way up) and came right back. In hiking though our woods he took off after some deer. Once he was on the other side of the thicket, the collar had no effect, even though he was less than 50 feet away. Works great in winter when there are no leaves to get in the way.

Pros: Works great, fast charging, easy on and off

Cons: Once the dog hits the trees, it doesn't work as well

Iams ProActive Health Multi-Cat Chicken & Salmon Cat Food

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
