Radio Fence creates a hidden barrier around your yard that safely contains your pet. Only your dog will know it's there. Pet containment system keeps your pet in your yard. Special collar helps your dog know his boundaries. The transmitter plugs into a standard outlet and emits a radio signal to a receiver worn on your dog's collar. The signal is transmitted through a wire which is placed along the boundaries you want to establish. The wire is really an antenna that carries the signal. The receiver, attached to your dog's collar, provides a warning beep when he approaches the wire. If he starts to cross the wire, he will receive a mild correction. Although harmless, this will dissuade him from continuing. Protects flowers, seedbeds, and shrubs. Keeps your dog safe within your yard, away from traffic and the chance for mischief on your neighbor's property. Place the antenna boundary wire underground, out of sight, with no wires to trip over. Unlike conventional fences, you can easily remove your Radio Fence and take it with you if you should move to a new location. Radio Fence Pet Containment System Features: FCC certified. Microprocessor based code to protect against false signals. Rated best by an independent laboratory. Uses two common three volt batteries. Lifetime warranty. Radio Fence Pet Containment System kit includes: standard transmitter with AC adapter ultralight receiver with adjustable collar, fits necks from 6" to 28" (pet should be at least 8 lbs.) 50 boundary flags 500 feet of wire two wire nuts operations manual batteries For Pets Over 8 lbs. - One Level Of Correction

You'll get out of it what you put into it

posted 6 years ago

This will work well if you're patient and take the time to work with your pet. It takes a lot of thought and planning.

Pros: Works if you train your dog

Cons: takes time and effort on your part

Worked well for us

posted 6 years ago

We used this for years with our first dog. He learned very quickly, and he also learned that if he heard the beep, he could stand there and not get shocked but wear the battery down! So we eliminated the beep. Overall, though, it was effective and even after it died, he still kept within the boundaries even without the collar.

Pros: does keep them within the boundaries most of the time

Cons: they can run through it and then they don't want to come back
