My cat wont use it

I tried on of these for my cat who only wants to drink from a running faucet and he wanted nothing to do with it. I dont know why he wouldnt use it but he just looked at it and walked away, I left it running for about 2 weeks and he never once drank from it.

We have this fountain at our veterinary hospital for our 2 clinic cats. They both love have running water always on hand. It does gurgle when the water level is getting low so it reminds us to fill it. Much better than turning on the faucet.
Pros: Easy to refill, quiet.
Cons: A little hard to clean.
