One of my dogs has had a long-standing habit of drinking too intensively and then spitting up or sometimes vomiting. I have been determined to find something to let her drink an adequate amount of water but not with so much gusto and speed. I have tried balls in the bowl, but she just takes them out. I saw this in an Orvis catalog but was scared off by the price but then decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! It is really effective at regulating her drinking and I feel much better that she is not going to get sick from drinking too fast.

This product is great for dogs with long ears, such as my Cocker Spaniel, encourages the animals to drink slowly. Its non skid so it won't move around the floor. This bowl uses a floating disc to control the flow of water. The price $24.99 is a little high but it could benefit your animal.

This bowl is great with the floating disk, it has really helped to regulate our dogs fast drinking. It will come in handy in the summer....we are going to buy 2 more of these for that purpose!
