I use to use a brand name heartworm preventitive. However, having 8 dogs at home, I was going broke.Luckily a friend told me of this great generic brand. It is a fraction of the cost, if bought at Petsheds. Being that it is in regular tablet form, it needs to be hidden in a "meatball"
Pros: cheaper
Cons: need to disguise

this is pretty nice to use but im not totally sure if i trust it yet. i have read the ingredients which seem to basically match but i need to run it by my vet again. great though since it is less expensive
