this is a pretty good product to get rid of tape worms but others work a little better. you can find this at baiscally all pets stores

It seems during every other hunting season, one of my dogs manages to find a deer carcass thoughtlessly flung into the county road ditch, and ends up infested with tapeworms. This gets the worms dispelled in short order. Ick. But thank goodness there are remedies.

Tapeworm is the only kind of worm that the heartworm medication that my dogs are on doesn't prevent. My dogs also tend to eat junk if they can find it, especially Riley, although I have them on a schedule, so they do have a tendancy to get tapeworm from time to time. It is good to have a product that you don't have to take them to the vet to use!

I got this product from 1-800 PET MEDS. I gave this to the dogs and it works within days. The dogs don't seem to mind the pill at all. It is pricey, but worth it not to have the dogs itching their bums.
