Anthelban is ideal for use as a dewormer for adult dogs and dogs over 25 pounds. Because of the higher concentration of pyrantel pamoate, it isn't as palatable as some other pyrantel suspensions, but can be syringe fed. We stock it at our shelter along with a more dilute suspension of pyrantel to use for all our cats and dogs from all ages from 8 weeks to 14 years old.
