My dog is not that big, she's only 60 lbs but her teeth are fairly large. This toothbrush doesn't work for her. The side brushes only reach up to the middle of her teeth. She also chomped down on the brush and it was hard to actually brush the teeth.

Also, this brush requires you to brush in a side to side manner, but as we all know, you should actually angle the brush to the gums and brush downward. This brush doesn't allow you to do that.

In the end, she broke the brush by chomping it too much.

I suppose if they made a bigger brush, it might work for my dog and any medium to large size dog.

I think it would work only well on toy size breeds.

Pros: Can work on small dogs

Cons: No work on big dogs

My dogs are big and have big teeth so this brush didn't work for us. The brush only cleaned the edges of the teeth and was not big enough for my GSD's teeth. Also, if your dog won't leave their mouth open, then it is difficult to get the brush in there. I usually hold their snout closed and brush the outside surfaces with a one-sided brush (the CET ergonomic brush works great), and then the chewing surfaces. It's not necessary to brush the inside surfaces as much as the dog's tongue tends to keep that side cleaner. My dogs didn't like this brush and they chomped down on it so it broke quickly. It didn't work much for my dogs, but I think it could work for a small dog. The concept is there, but the function isn't.

Cons: Only small teeth get cleaned
