Petrodex Dog Toothpaste

The worst part about Petrodex Dog Toothpaste is that our dog is sick of it, literally. He had a penchant for vomiting and we couldn't figure it out until one of our family members had a hunch that it might be the toothpaste he was using.

We took him off Petrodex and he immediately was well the very next day.

There is something in this toothpaste that must be toxic or causes vomiting in certain dogs. We cannot recommend a product that causes this sort of reaction in pets.

This also places a serious doubt on Sergeant pet products with us. We won't be buying anything from this manufacturer again.

Pros: Dog likes the flavor

Cons: Makes our dog vomit

We really like to use this toothpaste to keep our dog's teeth nice and clean!

Pros: Nice smells and great plaque fighting!

Cons: Dog doesn't love it, but tough cookies!
