We tried one of these three years ago for our pug and we haven't looked back since. He just loves chewing on his toy and they help to keep his teeth in good shape. They will in no way replace regular dentist visits to check there teeth, but will help in keeping them clean. Our pug likes to chew on the head mostly so once the little spikes are gone on the toy we toss it and buy him another one.

The dog likes these, especially when they are new. She will chew them and be entertained for quite a while. Assorted fun dinosaur shapes - she like the Stegasaurus. They last and last. They cost more than other chews and are better priced on line, but worth every penny for as long as they last.

I have an aggressive chewer. Only black Kongs and durable nylabones last for any amount of time. The dino is attractive to Rex, but the head and tail are a bit too thin and get munched in short order. Easy to clean. Not the same old bone.

My dogs don't give some Nylabone shapes a second sniff. This one they love! I have to watch it though to ensure that I throw it away when it gets small enough to be a choking hazard.
