Works Good

posted 6 years ago

I have used these and they worked good. However I found them a little hard to use and have started using the pads instead. I find they are a little easier to use.

Pros: Clean Breath

Cons: Hard to use

Better with gels and liquids

posted 6 years ago

I use a couple of different rinses and gels as a part of my pup's dental hygiene routine. They work ok with finger toothbrushes but it is challenging to get enough on the brush to coat the back teeth. I ordered some sponges after reading a suggestion in a magazine. They work awesome! It is easier to apply the gels and escpecially the liquid bases. The length also allows me to reach those back teeth and keeps my fingers out of harms way...they absolutely love the flavor of the one gel! No more sore fingers for me. The only disadvantage is they are for single use only and run about 30-35 cents each. For me, well worth the expense. These were very durable and the sponge attached securely so no worry of it coming off and being swallowed. Just the right size for canine's canines. By in bulk to get the best prices.

Pros: Soaks up and spreads liquid and gel dental products

Cons: None

My dogs tolerate these and that's good enough for me!

posted 5 years ago

I have tried different shaped toothbrushes and it was such a struggle to get them in my dogs' mouths! My dogs like the taste of this brand, and I can get the sponge pad in their mouths and work it around their teeth. I'm not saying they look FORWARD to it, but the fact that they tolerate it is good enough for me! My dogs are still young (2 and 3) so I can't say how effective this product is yet, but they don't have a lot of tartar build up- so far so good.

Pros: My dogs like the taste

Cons: Not sure how effective it is yet

I love these sponges. They work great and I don't know if I could stand the breath if I didn't use them. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to keep their dogs teeth clean.

Pros: Breath is Great
