I have 7 dogs and it is not pratical to brush all of their teeth ever night, although I know it is the right think to do. The second best thing to brushing has been feeding them the specially formulated T/D diet which does not shatter the first time their tooth goes in, allowing the tooth to go in and out of the morsel several times. You can give this food as treats, but for it to work best you should feed it as an exclusive diet.

We used to give this to our dogs instead of biscuits. I did notice a difference in their teeth, but we have switched to more quality tartar killers.

Great product for dogs that won't let you brush their teeth. Instead of feeding this food exclusively, I feed these as a treat. Only a few pieces a day really helps keep teeth clean. It will not remove tartar that has buildup.
