Cute but my pooches get their paws hooked in them

i got one of these for xmas (to put in my dogs kennels) but my dog ended up getting his claw stuck in it... so now i just have it @ the end of my couch. & its very nice looking
Pros: nice looking
Cons: but my pooches get their paws stuck
