This crate folds similarly to a sunshade for your car into a 12" disc. This is easy to travel with, is able to be buckled into the car, and can serve as a safe place for your dog to be crated (if crate trained) when you leave them alone on vacation for short periods of time. This is NOT a crate for chewers as it is made of a material similar to that of a tent, but for a non-chewer this is a wonderful travel tool! Our dog sleeps in it for our 6 hour drives to and from our ski vacations and loves it for the car as well as for sleeping in once we get to our vacation destination!
