My safety zone
posted 6 years ago
A must have for any puppy owner or for anyone who has a dog that cannot be left run of the house. I explored all options as some of the wire crate I came across were flimsy and I would not feel safe leaving a puppy in them. Midwest was the best made and sturdy of the lot, the removable tray is easy to clean and the crate is a great value for the money. The only thing I have found and this would be for any wire crate, is cleaning the wires if food desposits or puppy poopy deposits get onto the wires. My dogs prefer the wire crates oppposed to a more enclosed one. I would only buy midwest!
Pros: Great for training purposes
Cons: Cage itself is hard to clean

Midwest crates are great
posted 6 years ago
We have four dogs who are all crate trained and the Mid West crates we purchased have all worked very well. They are easy to clean when an accident happens, they are big enough even for our Great Danes and they are reasonably priced. We purchased ours at PetSmart, but they are available in many places. Mid West crates are well worth the investment as is crate training.
Pros: Well made yet inexpensive
Cons: Extra large crates are heavy!
