Our shelter has the prison program where inmates foster some of our dogs. They also have to teach them to kennel up when the guys go to chow or do something they can not take the dogs with them.

We have to use the folding crates as the drop pins could be made into a weapon in the wrong hands of some of the inmates. Never had it happen, but safety first.

So we went to the folding crates and then to the double door as some of the cells are smaller than others. So having the extra door is very nice.

These crates have held up for several years with many different size dogs in them.

The only problem we have had is when one dog really hated to be kenneled up and bent the bars.

The folding crates are nice for moving from one place to another.

We have two of these crates, one for our 79 lb ridgeback shepherd mix and for our 72 lb red bone coonhound shepherd mix. They both sleep quite comfortably in them with plenty of room to move around. Having two doors actually makes the crate placement easier since you have a couple of options for entering the crate. These crates fold up into a reasonably compact and flat package making them easier to transport. Two handles are provided which can be clipped on the folded crate and used as handholds. We take ours when the dogs go on vacation with us. Folding them up and undoing them takes a little bit of hand strength so these would probably not be suited to someone with arthritis.

This is a good crate. I like mine because you can adjust the size of the living area depending on what size dog you have in it. It's a good crate to use for housebreaking and the double doors come in handy if you have puppies that want to play and run to another corner when you go to take them out. This is easy to clean and comparably priced with other metal crates.

I HAVE THESE CRATES FOR MY DOG AND FOR MY FOSTERS. THEY ARE VERY USEFUL FOR POTTY TRAINING AND FOR KEEPING YOUR HOUSE INTACT WHEN YOU ARE GONE. THEY ARE VERY EASY TO CLEAN AND I LIKE THE WAY THEY FOLD FOR STORAGE. HOWEVER, WHEN THE PLASTIC PAN CRACKS AND BREAKS IT IS EXPENSIVE TO REPLACE. FOR THE PRICE OF THE CRATE I WOULD LIKE A LITTLE BETTER PAN TO PUT IN IT.

I always thought it was cruel to crate your pet. I have learned that it does help in potty training for the puppies. Good to have chewers contained when you are gone. Pans are not durable and are expensive to replace.
