Midwest 1642 Life-stages Folding Single-door Metal Dog Crate

Rating: 3.7

Average rating from 7 reviews.

(3.7 out of 5, based on 7 reviews)

Amazon.com Whether starting with a new puppy or starting again with an adult dog, this folding single-door metal dog crate cuts housebreaking time in half and reduces behavioral problems. The exceptionally versatile unit features a divider panel that allows for adjusting the length of the living area. Keeping the living space small enough reduces the chance of the puppy eliminating in one end and sleeping in the other. Choose the size of crate that the dog will need when it reaches its full adult size, as the divider can be adjusted as the puppy grows. Other highlights include safe and secure slide-bolt latches, a durable satin-black electro-coat finish, 1-1/2-by-5-1/2-inch mesh, rounded corners, and two plastic handles for carrying. The unit easily sets up and folds down to a portable size for suitcase-style carrying, and an ABS-composite plastic pan for easy clean up comes included. The dog crate measures 42 by 28 by 31 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty. Designed to be your dog's home for life, these wire homes come complete with a divider, which allows you to buy the size your dog will need when he's full grown, and adjust it as he grows. This makes crate training easier and more efficient. They're easy to set up and fold down to a portable size, and feature a satin black, electro-coat finish for durability. Rounded corners inside and out add safety for pets and people. Includes an easy-to-clean, ABS plastic pan; closes with secure, slide-bolt latches. This crate works well for my dog

posted 6 years ago

This crate is great for my dog. Easy to clean, easy to take on trips, and great for crate training. It grows with your dog. You just have to know your dog before you purchase anything, including this crate. It's not for every dog. I had to get one from a company for my other dog with a warranty for the life of the cage. They had to send me a couple of doors. Stuffed toys are not for every dog maybe neither is this crate but I love it for the dog I have now.

Pros: Easy to fold up for traveling

Cons: not for every dog

Agree with previous poster about the tray

posted 7 years ago

I have say I have been please with the overall ease of using this product-collapsing it is easy and so is setting it up. However, as the last person indicated, the bottom tray cracked rather easily (at the corner) and I am the type of person who is fairly careful with things. I did like that it also came with the divider. That feature helped tremendously while potty training our puppy.

Pros: .

Cons: .

Iams ProActive Health Multi-Cat Chicken & Salmon Cat Food

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
