This is my old "standby" crate. I've had several and Midwest makes a mighty fine crate but lately I'm going for the collapsible, which are much easier to fold up and store. AND--I learned the hard way that when you put one back together, if you inadvertently put the door panel on upside down the dog easily opens it! You think I'd have figured that out quickly but it took 4 days of presumably crated Rottie meeting me at the door to figure out what the problem was--cuz she wasn't gonna tell me!

Pros: old reliable

Cons: drop pins can be a pain

Have had this crate for about 8 years and it is as good as new today as when I got it. Very stable, easy to clean. You can attach crate bowls easily. Only one door at the end. For a sort of permanent spot as long as you don't need to take it down very often, the quality can't be beat !!

Pros: metal, will last forever, easy to clean

Cons: hard to put up with the pins

she sleeps in it while we are out and we put some mats down for her... she loves her cage.

Pros: my puppy loves her cage

Cons: hard to clean up sometimes

They are good crates, but I would never pay money for one. I think they are a pain in the butt to put together.

Pros: A good, solid crate.

Cons: Pain in the rump to put together
