Holiday Santa Hat

I actually got this as a toy for my dog. She has an elf hat by the same company that was originally purchased to be a funny hat, but it ended up turning into one of her favorite toys. She broke the chin strap and likes for me to put my hand in the hat while she tries to bite. I also put toys inside for her to dig out. They have stood up to many hours of tug-of-war contests, too. The elf hat is easier to use as the hand-puppet type of toy because it curves -- easier to grab her face with my hand inside. She loves it, though. After having her original elf hat for 2 years, I thought it was time to get her a new one for a Christmas gift. I then ran across the santa hats, too. I ended up buying her one in each size (3 sizes) of the 2 types of hats. They are a huge hit with Haley and with my mom's dog, Max, too.

Somehow, when you put on a Santa hat, it just make you "feel" Christmas more. I know it's not a religious symbol, but in today's strange culture of wanting to say "holiday" instead of Christmas, this Santa hat almost makes people have to acknowledge this most precious of holidays: a true Holy Day!

When Wiggles Blue Heeler and I wear our Santa hats, people smile and wave and say hi -- everyone benefits from these dear and warm hats!
