Petrelief Medicated Shampoo

Rating:

Rating: 4.3

Average rating from 4 reviews.

(4.3 out of 5, based on 4 reviews)

PetRelief medicated shampoos use advanced technology called Dermaspheres, a patented process that micro-encapsulates active components and causes them to attract and adhere to skin. A breakthrough in topical treatment for cats and dogs. Dermaspheres increases effectiveness by helping the medication get to, and stay on, the affected areas. 8.4 fluid ounces. PetRelief medicated shampoo contains 2 percent solubilized coal tar, 2 percent sulfur, and 2 percent salicylic acid for an anti-bacterial anti-fungal, and anti-flaking effect. Medicated Shampoo leaves the coat clean, soft and lustrous without stripping the natural oils. It features a pH-balanced formula and is recommended for the oily, flaky, dandruff seen in Cockers, Dachshunds, Lhasas, Shihtzus and many other breeds.

Works great, helps detangle hair

posted 6 years ago

I used this when we first brought home our one husky as a rescue. Her coat was disgusting. I used the medicated shampoo for her first couple cleaning and it worked great. Removed all the nastiness in her coat and helped by being antibacterial. I still did follow with a conditioner but it is a great shampoo.

Pros: Great medicated shampoo

Cons: none

Dry skin beware

posted 6 years ago

I used this shampoo on Gus some time ago when he was having some really really dry skin. I think it helped a good bit but I also did some other things like supplement his diet and his dandruff has gone away. Regardless I also like the scent of this shampoo and its one you can use frequently without worrying about drying out their skin.

Pros: smell

Cons: none
