Conditoner? YES! Very moisturizing!
posted 5 years ago
I'd never bought doggie conditioner before, but when searching for an effective shampoo to help my Lab mix's dry skin, I bought the shampoo to try, and figured, "why not?" on the conditioner... VERY pleased! You can use just the shampoo (which works very well also) if you've either not got the funds or the extra three minutes needed to let the conditioner sit, but I am soooo happy when my dog and I aren't too rushed (and she's not too impatient) to use this. Her skin loves it, her coat loves it, and she is sooo soft! Smells delish, too, without being overwhelming. Well worth the price, if you can find it (try searching the web if you can't find it at your store)! Oh- and yes- it is environmentally friendly and cruelty-free.
Here's some product info I found on one website: "This one of a kind formula is designed to deeply condition the skin and coat while offering the remarkable healing properties of WHEATGRASS. Wheatgrass enhances the skins immunity and provides soothing, healing relief to sensitive or irritated skin. Wags conditioner is soap and detegerant free and will NOT break down or remove ANY topical flea product. Wags has a natural, fresh scent. CONDITIONER INGREDIENTS Gluquat #125 (derived from coconut and corn), WHEATGRASS (5%), Aloe Vera, Wheat Protein, Vitamin E, Raspberry Extract, Papaya Extract, Kiwi Extract, Calendula Extract, Yarrow Extract, Mango Extract."
Pros: Mositurizing, leaves coat shiny and soft, smells great
Cons: Pricey, not available everywhere

Our dog has skin allergies, this doesn't bother her
posted 4 years ago
We have given up on hypoallergenic products ( we believe she's allergic to hypoalergenics) We try brands that are on sale and in small amounts. This is the first that she's had no reaction too. YEAH. It softens her skin and she scratches less.
Pros: works to condition hair and skin
Cons: none
