The Bags on Board Retractable Leash adds convenience to daily walks.
October 25, 2010 11:23 am | By Zootoo Editor Flinn D.
The Bags on Board, Bag Dispensing Retractable Leash is a solid entry into the growing line of leashes that conveniently provide on-board assistance when it comes to being a responsible poop-picker-upper. In the past, my issue with bag dispensing leashes has typically been with their over-complication – a leash, I have always thought, should be a simple contraption: a rope with a dog at the end of it, ‘nuff said. But as our lives grow more complicated, so must our tools and who hasn’t been out on an evening stroll with Fido and found themselves bag-less when the deed is done?
Enter Bags on Board Bag Dispensing Retractable Leash – man’s second best friend. With its compact, built-in cylinder that can hold a refillable roll of bags, Bag Dispensing Retractable Leash is always there when you reach for it. Made of durable, hard plastic and sturdy nylon, it is virtually unbreakable. It is also light and fits easily into your pocket if you need to take it somewhere without a dog attached to the other end. The product’s retractable feature works great and means no clumsily dangling leashes to get tangled in trees and other objects on your walk.
The only downside I could find to Bags on Board Leash was the handle – whereas the hard durable plastic holds up incredibly well against weather and aging, it also holds up incredibly well against hands. After multiple walks I noticed I was developing rather hard and painful calluses and blisters.
Pros: Sturdy, convenient — in short, man's second best friend.
Cons: Tough construction also means blisters for humans.

A Good idea

This is a good idea and I think it works better for smaller dogs. It is easy to get caught up in the leash on occasions. Mechanism can also jam.
Pros: Great reminder too '''pickup' and convenient
Cons: Difficult to control dog quickly
