We have purchased three of these collars in 8 months. Our dog is only 26 pounds and she is medium size but she pulls so hard on her lead that she opens up the holes and then all of a sudden one day the collar falls apart and she starts to take off until we call her back. I have since changed to the clip together style. Otherwise these are very nice collars.

This was the first collar we got for our dog. It faded a little, but didn't fray or wear out at all! We finally replaced it because we wanted a fun collar rather than a solid color collar, otherwise it works very well.
