Spindrift comfort collars are great for small dogs. My dog used to get all her hair rubbed off under her collar but after we got her a comfort collar, she has grown it all back. We also use it for camping. She swims, digs through the dirt, and runs through the wood all day and it has never torn. We have never had to replace it.
