These are good products. Have used them lots and my dog doesn't break away.

Great lead - doesn't tangle

This is a great lead for kitties during supervised outdoor play. I hook more than one together and attach to a mechanism screwed into the ground and it does the trick. It is very strong and pliable and does not tangle.
