Super for volunteer dog walkers!
posted 6 years ago
I found this combo leash/collar at a grocery store. I love it because when walking dogs at a shelter you run into all different size dogs. Some have collars, some don't. ... and even if the dog has a collar on - the collar may be too loose. I got tired of wasting time looking for a proper collar to put on the dog. I love this collar/leash combo so much that I lost mine and the grocery store doesn't offer it anymore. Was forced to order on line. 9.00 for it but 12.00 for shipping! Several volunteers at our shelter have purchased this combo. Another volunteer lost hers and ordered 2 on line just so she'd have a back up. Wish we could find it somewhere in town instead of ordering on line. I think I paid around 10.00 at the grocerty store. this is a great product for good dog walkers. but it is not to used as a training tool for a dog. I use harness for poor walkers where I have better control. ... but use the combo collar/leash to get them out of their cage and "hold" them while I'm putting the harness on. Wouldn't think of walking dogs without this product.
Pros: Fits all size dogs
Cons: Not good for poor walkers

I used to have one for my dog Teeki when he was a smaller pup. It worked amazing. I'm going to get one for our new dog. I would strongly recommend this item!
Pros: Great design, great comfort, excelent handling training purposes
Cons: The price is a lil spendy but well worth it!
