Gentle Leader Headcollar

I absolutely love this product! I tried everything with my dog to keep him from pulling and this finally worked. He is in between sizes (a 10 in. collar is too big but the next size down was too small) so he slips his collar if we only use that on the leash. I've used harnesses but he would pull so hard it would chafe his chest. I even briefly tried a choke collar, which worked until I realized it was breaking the hairs of his long fur. This product, however, simply does not allow him to pull and does not pain him in any way. It doesn't choke him or chafe him or pully his fur and he can still breathe and function as long as he isn't pulling, which he figured out pretty quickly. My only con is that when he sees it, he gets really wiggly because he doesn't like it and that can make it difficult to put on but that's just my dog. It may be different for yours.

Cons: difficult to get on if your dog hates it ;)

The Gentle Leader made it much easier to walk the dog with minimal pulling. I had some trouble fitting it. Perhaps, I did not make it tight enough around his head. However, it seemed pretty darn tight. For some reason, the dog seemed to get his leash caught between his legs more frequently when using this than other collors/harnesses.
