Four Paws Seat Vest Harness

I must be doing something wrong. I don't know how people can get a seatbelt through the harness and still have the dog be able to sit. Since my seatbelts have both the shoulder and lap restraints, the harness ends up sliding down to the point where these two belts meet, which is on the side of the seat. My dog can only lay down while wearing this, with his head on the console. Then he twists himself around and is obviously very uncomfortable. I've got to find something that works better for us.

Pros: easy to put on

Cons: doesn't work for us

I lost a dog in an auto accident years ago (head on collision and she flew into the dash) and swore if I ever rode with another dog in the car again (in the seats), that I wouldn't go with out a pet seat belt. This one works great. I bought a tiny one when my golden was a puppy and purchased the larger versions as she grew. She knew if we were going bye-bye - that she wasn't going out the door without it. I felt much safer knowing she was buckled in just like I was. Don't leave home with your pet without it!!!!

Pros: Safety - need I say more?

Cons: Sometimes a little tricky to put on
