The ecoPure Flea and Tick Collar is an easy-to-use, all-natural alternative to other pest control collars.
April 20, 2011 11:26 am | By Zootoo Editor Flinn D.
Finding all-natural pest control solutions can be a challenge, particularly when you’re seeking a sturdy, effective flea and tick collar. Fortunately, ecoPure Naturals has devised a collar that works with their repellant solution to create an all-natural way to keep bugs away from your four-legged friend.
The ecoPure Naturals Flea and Tick Collar is a snap to use. The package includes a small bottle of the company’s concentrated flea & tick solution, which features three active ingredients – castor oil, thyme oil, and clove oil. If you’ve ever stood in the aisle of the pet store scratching your head while trying to recognize (or even pronounce!) some of the ingredients in other flea and tick collars, this list of ingredients may feel refreshingly short and manageable to you.
Once the solution is on the collar, you’re ready to roll – and your dog is ready to roll in the grass and weeds. Compared to other flea and tick collars with less all-natural ingredients, you may find yourself rewetting the collar more often than the five to seven months that those other collars usually last. However, if your pet has had allergic reactions to other products, or you’re just committed to trying all-natural products, rewetting the ecoPure collar may not seem like such a hassle.
The collar itself is well-made and comfortable, and didn’t cause any irritation or chafing during our test runs. So if you’re ready for a flea and tick collar that’s all-natural and durable, give the ecoPure Naturals Flea and Tick Collar a try.
Pros: Natural ingredients; simple to use.
Cons: Need to rewet more often than other, less all-natural collars.
