Seattle Slicker Dog Raincoat
(4 out of 5)
The Seattle Slicker Dog Raincoat gives canines a classic coat for wet weather.

For humans as well as pets, sometimes the classic version of a garment can be the best option. And the Seattle Slicker Dog Raincoat is certainly a canine version of a classic raincoat, offering your pooch protection during rainy walks without a lot of fuss.
The Seattle Slicker Dog Raincoat follows the design approach of most canine rain jackets on the market. The material is a straightforward nylon that acts as a competent water repellent. It’s worth noting that if you’re looking for a combination raincoat and winter jacket, the nylon may not be sufficient to keep your dog warm when the thermometer drops, but for light protection, this slicker fits the bill.
Available in yellow as well as red or black, if you wish to depart in style from the traditional slicker look, the Seattle Slicker Dog Raincoat is easy to get on and off your canine. The adjustable Velcro strap is wide enough to help ensure a comfortable fit, even outdoors in the wind, and the coat is cut broadly enough to give your canine’s flank some protection.
The Seattle Slicker Dog Raincoat also includes touches that owners have come to expect from a canine rain jacket, such as a leash opening and a reflective strip on the back for added visibility. The coat also features a pocket on the back, which is a cute design touch, but not entirely functional if you’re planning to store anything there which may be too heavy for your dog’s back, or may be damaged by water.
Simply put, for the price, ranging from around $10 to $17 depending on the size (and the coat comes in an impressive range of sizes from Small to XXLarge), the Seattle Slicker Dog Raincoat offers classic slicker protection — no more, but no less. And sometimes, that’s all you and your pooch need.
Pros: Affordable price for good quality.
Cons: May not offer enough warmth in colder rainstorms.
