I'm a fan of ruffwear products, very good quality, functional and attractive, I've purchased the floatcoat and approach pack and love both, unfortunately is it not the case wit this coat.

The main complaint is the neck opening is too large. I have a weimaraner with a 32" chest, so I decided to go with Large since it was in between sizes and he has a wide chest. The chest was fine, the length was fine, but the neck opening was so big that is slid down to his shoulder blades, the excess material under the neck formed a bit of a pouch and just looked odd to me. I dont like the fact that it has sleeves as well, they just look uncomfortable. My dog kept turning around and biting his back.

So I'll be returning this coat and trying something else. I hope they keep working on a new coat design thats warm and functional, since so far its been a miss with both the k-9 overcoat and the cloudchaser.

I finally got one of these for my less weather tolerant dog. It's easy to put on (not as easy as the K9 overcoat though) and fits very nicely. My dog has full range of motion in it and his core is kept warm. I only wish it would snow here so he could play in it.

Tito hates cold and wet weather.Open the door and its raining or cold air hits him,he's backing up til he has a coat that fits well,keeps his back dry and keeps him warm.This one takes care of all his wants and needs.Not to mention he looks great!

I just love thisjacket and my dogs look so cute in them. It also keeps then dry in wet weather. If my dogs get wet it means a bath for sure. When they started wearing it they wouldn't walk in it but now they do everything in it.

Cons: sometimes hard to put on

This cloud chaser jacket is a great addition to any pet's wardrobe. It is lightweight, fits like a glove, and easily repels wind and rain. I would recommend it to any active pet.
