Hartz Pig Skin Twists

I have been buying these for my dogs for quite a while (years). They are a safe alternative to rawhide and last longer than a pig's ear. However, I have noticed the last time or two that I bought these, they are now filled with a hard piece of something in the middle and they are thinner. The package says nothing about a filler. I think it is something Hartz has added to cut costs, but is not telling people about it. My dogs don't enjoy these nearly as much as they used to. Don't waste your money on these!

We just recieved these as a donation at the shelter. They are long lasting and really nice treat for our shelter dogs to help satisify their urge to chew and to keep them busy during the day. Made of beefhide and pig skin.
