Great carriers, very expensive. We have a couple at the shelter. We sure need more of these, the ones we have are real old.They have lasted a long time.

I use the x-large crates as my dogs "House" indoors, and they are trained to go and get in their house so they can be crated in an emergency or while I am at work. It gives you a peace of mind to know that they are not roaming the house and will not have an accident while you are out. The size allows plenty of room for them to sleep as well as turn around. They are vented so the pug can see out. I use them in the storm cellar so they are crated in an emergency situation. I find the older models with the turn knob to put them together are as good as the new model with the screw and cap. The tie down holes are nice.

Although originally purchased for our German Shepherd, we have used this product many, many times for stray little dogs who have ventured our way. It works really well and is very durable--ours sits outside year round.

We use these crates for our dog rescue transports. They hold large dogs or moms with puppies easily. They are easy to disinfect and stack nicely in a van or truck for transport. The nice thing is that with the hard sides we know our animals are safe while on their journey.
