These carriers are very sturdy and easy to use. The clips make it easy to take apart and put together. No annoying clips or screws to lose.

Petmate carriers have always been used at our shelter and personally, in my home. I have had a small one for my cat for 8 years now and it has held the test of time. She actaully enjoys laying in it if left out. But we only use it for transport. The handle has never broke which is always a worry to me. I notice the newer ones have compartments on top to store a leash and some come with small bowls for travel.

At the shelter, it is nice to loosen the fasteners and take apart of cleaning after each use.

My Yorki loves his little crate. He feels safe and comfortable in it. I leave him for about 6 hours a day in it and he is happy.

This is a great size for my cat. The door is easy to open and close and it has good ventilation. My kids also like to put their stuffed animals in it to play.
